Hey everyone! Thanks for being followers of my little DA page, and to those faithful who purchased one of my bits, I extend a particularly warm thanks.
The one bit coin is actually the topic of this journal entry, and I would like to hear everyone's feedback on a proposal I was recently given by a certain Capt-Light-Shine. Essentially, he is offering to produce the One Bit Coin that I have designed (with full credit) and sell them for cheaper than I was originally charging (due to production and shipping costs). My main concern is that this might devalue the coins that I have already sold, although with the signed certificates of authenticity (THAT I HOPE YOU ALL KEPT BECAUSE I FREAKING SIGNED AND NUMBERED THOSE THINGS INDIVIDUALLY) that should eliminate any collectible value issues. I also wouldn't be getting paid any royalties and would have to trust my design in the hands of a group of strangers producing it. Should that be the case, however, I'd draw up an exclusivity contract and an NDA for all parties to sign.
The reason I am considering this, however, is twofold. First, I know that there are a lot more of you out there that want one of my coins, and I know that I can't personally guarantee that everyone could get one, so this would allow broader distribution of this particular art piece and hopefully at a reduced price (unsure of what all that biz is as of yet). Second, name recognition. Having my name out there on a much larger stage would be beneficial.
So, essentially, I'm asking you, my loyal fanbase, what your opinions are. What do you think should happen? Should I produce another 100 coins and then call it quits on the Royal Equestrian Bit, keeping it as a relatively exclusive collector's item and making (albeit slight) monetary benefits, or should I consider this mass-production, unpaid option?

Hey all. For those of you (most of you) who don't know, I also occasionally produce ambient / drone music under the name Anachronism.
Well, my first actual EP is out with four acoustic tracks dripping with droney, ambient goodness. Best part is, you can get it for free on my bandcamp! Just go to this link and you can listen to it and download it:

I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH BRONYCOIN
Attention one and all, because it seems there's been a breakdown in communication going on and now I find myself in the middle of a boycott.
I have nothing to do with Bronycoin.com or any of it's designers any more.
I have nothing. I repeat, NOTHING to do with the guy who got "ripped off", as he puts it, and should not be the target of reprimand from his cronies.
I have absolutely no idea who this "ripped off" dude is. never met him, never spoke to him, heard a rather unpleasant story about him from my old retailer when I WAS with Bronycoin which I won't repeat because, again, I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH BRONYCOIN OR THE GUY WHO GOT "RIPPED

Hello everyone.
As you may know, I am drawing the Royal Equestrian Min project to a close for the time being. As such, today is the last day to get one and ten bit coins off of http://bronycoin.com
Afterwords, the site will be selling mainly designs by Akili Amethyst.
I want to thank you all so much for having been part of this amazing project!

I agree with the people here talking about a mint mark. It makes perfect sense really, maintaining both the rarity of your original run and allowing for greater distribution. I also like the idea of a different denomination produced on a larger scale. However, the first option is much better I think.
